The Prosperity Chair merges historical symbolism with contemporary lines.
The chair features elements of the Chinese character, as well as a deer’s antlers, both that signify prosperity.
To reach adulthood, the deer survived its vulnerable life stages, and now must choose the best path to move on.
The base of the chair represents the yin-yang of water, a vital aspect of life,
but one that has both positive and negatives, as it grows and sustains life, but can wash and consume life also.
The chair represents not success achieved, but rather the pursuit for success.
Therefore, to prosper, an individual must also choose the best strategies.
“Sitting on the Prosperity Chair will help someone to enhance their successes by helping them dictate their own paths to prosperity.”

The Longevity Chair merges historical symbolism with contemporary lines.
Prominent in the chair is the Qing Dynasty calligraphy character for longevity
merged with the very evident shape of the peach in a tree, also symbolic of longevity.
The chair’s base combines two animals, the turtle, a long-living creature, and
an entwining snake, symbolic of the medicine needed to extend life.
The snake makes its way up to the back of the chair, its head becoming the peach shape as it flicks its tongue upward.
Together, the chair’s design reminds us to embrace the gifts that can extend our lives, and
to live to positively impact others, so that your memory can endure forever.

The Happiness Chair merge historical symbolism with contemporary lines.
The bird-like shape of the chair’s back doubles as a representation of both the magpie,
as well as a music note by the drummer performing for an appreciative audience
from the caligraphy, both symbolic of happiness in Chinese culture.
Top to bottom, we see the drummer holding his sticks above a drum top, the bottom square being the audience.
As a matching pair, these “wedding” chairs depict the magpies glancing lovingly toward each other,
a physical representation of Double Happiness, with the heart-shaped base symbolic of the affection they share.

The Fortune Chair merges historical symbolism with contemporary lines.
Borrowing from the Chinese Character for fortune, as well as the significance of the culturally revered crane,
the curvature of the chair’s back represents the crane, the symbol for a long life, looking downward in search of food.
The seat represents family, and the base symbolizes a rice paddy, the source of food.
A family’s good fortune is that their bountiful farm creates health and stability.
Together, the chair’s design components depict the fortune of having the sustenance and the family support to expect a long and happy life.
“Those who sit on the Fortune Chair will have the land and the nourishment to enjoy a long life along with their family, which is truly worth a fortune.”
